Lexington Tooth Bonding
We understand how mortifying breaking a front tooth can be. Tooth bonding quickly restores your smile, in only one appointment.
Dr. Jenny uses composite resin to repair a small chip, crack, gap, or broken front tooth. Or if you have an aesthetic concern, bonding can improve the color, shape, or size of the tooth to blend in perfectly with your surrounding teeth.
This advanced cosmetic dentistry treatment requires extensive training beyond dental school to master the techniques required. It also requires artistic talent, since the restoration is crafted freehand. Dr. Jenny’s credentials are impressive. She has completed courses at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and was the 2005 Gold Medal Winner in the International Smile Gallery competition of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
What to Expect at Your Bonding Appointment
First, the tooth will be prepared by slightly etching the surface. This step enables the bonding material to adhere properly. Then, the composite resin will be applied directly to the area of concern. The putty-like material will be handcrafted until the desired shape is achieved. A special curing light is used to help harden the composite. Then, Dr. Jenny will meticulously match the coloration and translucency of your natural tooth for a stunning result.
Before & After Tooth Bonding
