Will KöR whitening work on tetracycline stains?

Recently, I have heard that KöR whitening may be able to help tetracycline stains. It was an article I found online that recommended KöR as a more affordable cosmetic dentistry option.

My dentist has always told me that porcelain veneers are the only way to treat these stains. And to be honest, I simply cannot afford them. Are there any other ways that I haven’t heard of to get rid of ugly tetracycline stains?

Michael,

Porcelain veneers are the ideal treatment option for covering tetracycline stains. They are placed over the front of the tooth. So, they cover the stains entirely. But, they can be expensive and also you need an expert cosmetic dentist to do the work.

You really don’t want to cut corners on porcelain veneers. Tetracycline stains are usually quite severe. Do not go to a dental school or find a deal to get these types of stains treated. Cosmetic dentistry requires extensive training and a thorough understanding of techniques and bonding materials and procedures. You will end up spending more money in the long run to have the work redone, unless you go to an expert. Even good cosmetic dentists struggle with tetracycline stains.

But, it sounds like you’ve decided that porcelain veneers aren’t an option because of the high fees. KöR whitening is more affordable than porcelain veneers. KöR is the strongest teeth bleaching system available on the market. It could whiten your tetracycline stains considerably and it is much more affordable. In many cases, KöR can whiten teeth up to 16 shades. So, it would definitely be worth asking a reputable cosmetic dentist about it.

You don’t want to go to any general dentist and ask them to take care of it. Ask to see their credentials, photos of other tetracycline cases and see if they recommend KöR for your specific case.

Best of luck! you deserve a beautiful smile. Hopefully, KöR will be your answer.
